Story 61 of 100: Josh and Caleb

Josh Leslie, mentor2.0 mentor at Sheridan High School and Wells Fargo Bank employee, had the following to say about her mentor2.0 experience so far:

“A co-worker of mine originally recommended the BBBS program several years ago and I’ve been volunteering ever sense. With Mentor 2.0 I saw an opportunity to have a positive impact on the future of a young adult and felt strongly about the intentions of the program. Over the past 3 years my mentee, Caleb, has shown positive growth around his personal maturity as well as his dedication to education and his post-high school plans. Volunteering is one of the most rewarding things that someone can do. Everyone benefits, the mentees and the mentors.”

mentor2.0 is a technology-enriched mentoring program providing high school students the support and guidance needed to graduate high school and succeed in college and the workforce. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado partners with schools in both the Denver metropolitan area and in Colorado Springs.
