Story 91 of 100: Ayn-Marie Hailicka

Analise is a pint-sized ball of fun. It took no longer than two minutes for us to realize we were soul sisters. During our two years of friendship, we explored Denver like it was our job. We went on roller coasters, visited museums, made cupcakes, hiked through the foothills, rode bikes around the neighborhood, wrote far-fetched stories about pink aliens princesses, and ate our weight in french fries.

I loved our routine meetings that complemented my ever-changing life. In doing so, I learned how important it was for me to have a “kid” in my life who encouraged me to be silly and forced me to be in the moment. Each meeting, I’d forget about the stresses in my life, until we said goodbye again. I owe her a huge thanks for a being a shining light in my life. I love you dearly, Analise, and am so thankful to have been matched with you.
