Donor of the Month: Accenture

Accenture is one of the world’s leading organizations providing management consulting, technology, and outsourcing services. We are proud to be an Accenture Skills to Succeed Partner, collaborating to equip the next generation with the skills needed to succeed in post-secondary education and the workforce!

Accenture has been a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado partner since 2016 and this year they invested $25,000 in our mentor2.0 program through the Accenture Skills to Succeed program. The Skills to Succeed program helps address the global need for skills that open doors to employment and economic opportunity. Skills to Succeed draws upon two of Accenture’s unique capabilities: training talent and convening powerful partnerships to develop collaborative solutions. Accenture partners with mentor2.0 to accelerate their impact and continue to make a sustainable difference in the economic vitality and resilience of individuals, families, and communities.

The Skills to Succeed curriculum will be implemented across the three Denver mentor2.0 schools this coming school year to help support our students as they create their resumes and prepare for job interviews. Students will complete modules based on their individual needs, both on their own and together with their mentors. We are excited to bring this excellent curriculum to our pairs!

Accenture is dedicated to supporting BBBSC year-round and encourages its employees to get involved in various ways. Accenture has hosted a school supply drive, sports equipment drive, holiday gift drives, and various employee mentor recruitment events. Thank you, Accenture for your continued support of mentor2.0 and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado!
