If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Probably Norway to learn about my Viking roots. But the Middle East is fascinating. And the Artic seems neat. Also, Southeast Asia would be great.
What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had? Detasseling corn, in which midwest 13-year-olds walk through rows of corn all day, in the heat of summer, defiling every corn stalk– and eating lunch on a school bus.
What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13? Lean into the weird, girl.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself? During the first week of my senior year of college, I broke both my elbows and had to wear two slings.
