Walmart and the Walmart Foundation create opportunities for people to live better every day by supporting and investing in communities through local giving, encouraging volunteerism, and through programs to strengthen community cohesion. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado is proud to receive support from the Walmart Local Community Grants Program where management at local facilities make initial funding recommendations on submitted requests. Funds provided will go towards our mentoring programs which positively impact the local community. Because of the generosity of community partners like Walmart, our programs ensure that 95% of mentees have improved or maintained their grades. Thank you for supporting mentoring relationships, and ensuring the vital work of mentoring continues to empower potential in young people in Colorado.
