Partner of the Month: KPMG

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado is proud to partner with KPMG! For more than 20 years, KPMG has invested in our mission through funding, event sponsorships, and its team members have served our organization as mentors and board membership, including Michelle Kent (Board of Directors) and Ben Eisenberg (Associate Board). Through KPMG’s consistent commitment to our mission, BBBSC continues to provide our mentees with quality programming and enriching mentoring relationships.

This summer, KPMG offered paid internships through their Empower High School Experience program for three BBBSC Littles. To kick off the mentorship experience, students enjoyed a $300 Express Shopping experience at Express, to purchase business attire, plus an additional $250 clothing stipend, a $300 transportation stipend, and a laptop! The Littles got to practice working remote, learn about auditing and taxes, created LinkedIn profiles, and learned soft skills at an etiquette luncheon and networking fair. Additionally, KPMG supported students at a Community Impact Day, participated in a Strength Finders test, and so much more! It was a fantastic opportunity for professional development and career exploration for our Mentees.

KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Advisory services. KPMG envisions a world where there is equitable access to transformative education opportunities for all. They support targeted and customized programs and efforts designed to empower everyone to be a lifelong learner. KPMG has representation on both BBBSC’s Board of Directors as well as Associate Board and is a generous supporter of our events.

Thank you, KPMG, for all you do to support BBBSC over the years by empowering youth to reach their full potential! Learn more about KPMG HERE
