Catie and Kalea were introduced in July 2018 and the pair hit it off right from the start! They immediately discovered shared passions for sports (both watching and playing), being active, and food!
In their 8 months together they have enjoyed shooting hoops, chowing down on wings at Buffalo Wild Wings while watching the game, having friendly competitions at Dave and Busters, creating gingerbread houses, attending sporting events, and going to the Movie Tavern. On one of their very early outings, they opened Kalea’s first ever savings account, which was 100% Kalea’s idea!
Regardless of what these two find to do, “they always both have huge smiles” says Kalea’s mom. She also added, “Kalea is always so excited to go hang out with Catie; it’s the one thing she likes doing outside of the house as a teenager.”
Kalea is bright, dedicated and driven to do the best she can and Catie is always there to help encourage her. It has been such a joy to watch their friendship and I have no doubt it will continue to thrive!
