Mentor2.0 Spotlight

mentor2.0 is a technology-enriched mentoring program providing high school students the support and guidance needed to graduate high school and succeed in college and the workforce. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado partners with schools in both the Denver metropolitan area and in Colorado Springs.

AT&T employee, Jessica Katzenberger, had the following to say about her mentor2.0 experience so far:

I read about mentor2.0  in a company email. After researching the organization, I decided this was the perfect fit for me because it was a structured commitment with deliverables, a schedule, and an effective platform – coming from a technology company, that’s a must! I loved the idea of having an outline for my mentoring relationship with the strong support system that the Mentor 2.0 staff provided.”

“I can actually see her confidence grow when we start a new module. It’s easy to feel daunted or overwhelmed when she first tackles a new topic, but with some guidance and support, Starr has developed a stronger self-image.”
