Subaru of America is giving back to the Colorado community with a significant investment and yearlong partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC). With this gift, Subaru of America is helping BBBSC provide more than 1,900 youth in the Denver metro and Pikes Peak regions with strong and enduring, professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships that will change their lives for the better, forever.

As Kelley Blue Book’s Most Trusted Brand for four years running, Subaru of America is committed to building vehicles that customers can rely on while being a part of a greater good. From their Share the Love events that support numerous charitable organizations to funding they provide for nonprofit organizations, to their zero-landfill production plant, Subaru is definitely more than a car company.

“We are thrilled that with this donation and yearlong partnership, Subaru of America will be the Entertainment & Valet Sponsor of our Big Shots Gala, Title Sponsor of Cookout for Kids’ Sake, and Ace Sponsor of Topgolf for Kids’ Sake,” said Dave Ryan, CEO of BBBSC. He continued, “These events help fund our evidence-based programs, which are proven to help youth improve their sense of self and sense of future, form positive relationships with peers and family, avoid risky or delinquent behavior and achieve educational success.”

In addition to this significant investment, Subaru and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado will work together on mentor recruitment and awareness to try to engage more community members and Subaru employees as mentors in the program. Also, as a way to thank current mentors and volunteers, Subaru will be offering a vehicle discount for BBBSC volunteers, board members and employees. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado has always seen the potential inherent in every child and we believe that everyone in our community can help youth realize their full potential. Together with corporate partners like Subaru of America, we can change the world by inspiring, igniting and empowering potential in youth.
