BBBSC Recognizes AT&T at Gala!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado named AT&T as our 2019 Corporate Partner of the Year! The company was recognized for this honor at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado’s Big Shots Gala on May 11. The award was accepted by Roberta Robinette, AT&T Colorado President, who is also a member of our Board of Directors.

AT&T & AT&T Aspire create connections that drive innovation in education. Together, these connections are helping students and communities right here in Colorado, and all across America. AT&T and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado believe every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. By removing barriers, sparking innovative solutions, and making connections, together we help every student achieve a bright, successful future.

For over ten years, AT&T has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado – financially investing in youth with grants and sponsorships, and engaging employees as Bigs, Volunteers, Event Participants and Board Members. In 2015, AT&T became a Founding Contributor of our mentor2.0 program, which ensures students have the support and skills necessary to graduate high school prepared for college and the workforce. In 2018, AT&T also became a Founding Contributor of our Bigs with Badges program, which matches youth one-to-one with first responders such as a police officer, firefighter or EMT. Through Bigs with Badges, AT&T will support BBBSC to use the power of mentoring to improve relations between first responders, youth, and families in the communities they serve.

Thank you AT&T for all you do to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and the proven power of one-to-one mentoring!
