Mentor2.0 Spotlight: Nick and Miguel

Nick with his mentee, Miguel, matched since 2018

U.S. Bank employee, Nick Donovan, had the following to say about his mentor2.0 experience so far:

“My mentee, Miguel, is an extremely personable and impressive young man who has no problem striking up a conversation with his classmates and teachers. Over the last several months, we’ve shared a lot with each other, including what our families are like, what are interests are outside of work /school, and what’s most important to us in life. I have admired Miguel’s willingness to open up with me, and have been surprised by how similar we are notwithstanding how different our life experiences have been. I’m excited to see what choices Miguel makes as he transitions into the second half of his HS career, and look forward to helping him think about what he’d like to do after. With some direction, he seems like the type of person who could succeed in anything, and have a huge impact.”
