Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC) proudly serves the Colorado Springs community by delivering youth mentorship programs that nurture, empower, and inspire young people. Stars
Big Brothers Big Sisters Colorado located in Pikes Peak offers site-based mentoring through our STARS program. Currently active in three schools within Harrison School District: Harrison High School, Fox Meadow Middle School, and Carmel Community School, the STARS peer-mentoring program empowers high-school and middle school students to become positive role models for younger peers. Youth mentors help mentees develop leadership abilities, strengthen social-emotional skills, and deepen engagement in school and community life. STARS fosters both academic and personal growth, preparing participants for successful futures and positive community involvement.
Community-Based Mentoring
Big Brothers Big Sisters Colorado at Pikes Peak offers personalized one-to-one, community-based mentoring for youth 9-17, including our Big Futures program, which provides intentional post-secondary support, resources, and exposure for youth ages 13 and older. Bigs and Littles build lasting bonds through shared experiences—from exploring local attractions to volunteering together. This flexible approach encourages positive relationships and personal growth, making it one of the most impactful youth programs in Colorado Springs.
