The Role of a Big Brother or Big Sister
Becoming a Big isn’t about having all the answers – it’s about showing up, listening, and believing in a young person. Our Bigs come from all walks of life, but they share one thing in common: a commitment to helping youth realize their full potential.
In our Community-Based Mentoring program, Bigs and Littles spend time together doing everyday activities – going for walks, cooking meals, talking about school or life. In our Site-Based Mentoring programs like STEAM Buddies and Big Futures, mentors meet regularly with Littles to explore shared interests and build life skills.

How to Sign Up
Ready to become a mentor? The process is simple and supported every step of the way. You’ll fill out a short application, complete an interview and background check, and attend a training session before being matched with a Little.
