Research proves one-to-one mentoring works. Youth with a Big Brother or Big Sister show real differences in their personal and academic lives. Colorado Results First Initiative analysis of BBBSC’s one-to-one mentoring programs showed a positive return on investment; for every $1 invested in BBBSC programs, the community receives a $4 benefit (e.g., increased labor market earnings, reduced health care costs).

91% of youth in Colorado rated their relationship as strong or very strong, demonstrating they are bonding with a caring adult mentor and their mentoring relationship is developing positively (2021).
