Match Makers empower the potential of Little Brothers and Little Sisters through monthly giving. When you make a monthly gift, you help us introduce a waiting Little to their Big every month. Contributions are easy to set up and are automatically deducted from a debit or credit card. As a Match Maker, you will receive quarterly stories about the life-changing impact your giving has on youth across metro Denver and Pikes Peak regions.

By making a donation in the form of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or other appreciated securities, you are making an investment in the future of children in your community.
If your stock is more valuable now compared to when you purchased it, you may save on capital gains taxes by donating your stocks rather than selling them. Additionally, its current value may be tax deductible. As with all of your investment decisions, please consult your professional advisers. POLICIES AND GUIDELINES
We appreciate your interest and willingness to raise funds and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado (BBBSC), however there are a few guidelines we ask you to follow.
All events or fundraising campaigns must be approved by BBBSC in advance. In order to start the approval process, the Third-Party Events Application must be completed and submitted.
Permission to use the BBBSC name or logo in advertising, promotion, or other materials, must be approved by BBBSC prior to production and distribution.
BBBSC assumes no liability for the event participants or consumers of the product.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters” or “Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado” may not be included as the title of the event. BBBSC may be mentioned as the beneficiary of an event or product sales in fundraising solicitations after the activity has been approved by BBBSC.
Within 60 days following the event or fundraising campaign, proceeds must be received. Proceeds may be mailed or delivered to the BBBSC offices. BBBSC will never allow permission for funds to be generated using our name for personal gain. Failure to produce funds to BBBSC after using our name and/or logo could result in legal action. BBBSC may require additional information or applicant to obtain insurance dependent upon the event or fundraising campaign.
BBBSC is happy to provide input on event planning and BBBSC logo, and may be willing to assist in promotion of event or fundraising campaign or staff attendance at the event if applicable. This is determined on a case by case basis.
BBBSC will not be able to provide funding or reimbursements for expenses.
Due to the nature of our program we usually require at least a week’s notice to be able to distribute tickets to Matches. Factors such as the format of ticket and location of the event may require more or less time to distribute. It is always up to the discretion of BBBSC whether a time, date, location, or event is appropriate or acceptable for Matches.
If approved we always offer the tickets up to Matches first. If there are many interested Matches we do a drawing for the winner. If no Matches are able to use the tickets (last minute, a difficult date, challenging logistics, lack of interest) rather than have the tickets go unused, we may offer them up to our staff members or donors.
Tickets can mailed or dropped off at our office located at 750 W Hampden Suite 450, Englewood CO, 80110 to the attention of Janet Castaneda or emailed to email@example.com. A receipt will be delivered to donors immediately upon request and a tax letter will be mailed to the donor within two weeks. Please make sure to include your contact information and value of the tickets when you submit your donation.
Ticket donor remain anonymous to Matches but they often write a thank you note which they can send to BBBSC to be passed along to the donor.

Many credit card companies make it easy for you to donate your credit card reward points and miles. Often you can redeem your rewards online through your bank’s or issuer’s website, or you may also be able to do the redemption over the phone with a representative.

The Colorado Child Care Tax Credit is a great way to maximize your donation. In order to promote giving to nonprofit organizations that provide quality child care in Colorado, the state has offered a special 50% income tax credit to taxpayers who donate to qualifying programs. The effect of this credit is that half of your donation is offset by a dollar-for-dollar reduction of your Colorado income taxes. In addition, if you itemize your federal income tax returns, you may be able to claim the credit and receive a deduction.
Making a monetary donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado entitles you to this Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit! Combined with other state and federal itemized tax deductions, this a great way to maximize your charitable giving.
