Our mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Who We Serve

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado seeks to change the lives of children facing adversity between 9 and 18 years of age. Our network of volunteers, donors and supporters comes from all walks of life and all backgrounds.

What We Achieve

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado helps children achieve success in school, avoid risky behaviors and improve their self-confidence. We hold ourselves accountable to our supporters by regularly measuring our impact.

So Many Ways to Get Started

Looking to get involved? Whether you’re interested in enrolling your child, donating, or stepping up as a Big, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado offers several types of mentoring programs in the Denver and Pikes Peak regions.

Community Based Mentoring

Spending time together out in the local community is primarily how Bigs and Littles develop their relationship. After all, to change a child’s perspective of the world, it helps to spend some time out in it.

Site Based Mentoring

Site Based mentoring matches convene 1-2 times monthly, often on Saturdays, at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado events for at least 12 months.

School Based Mentoring

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado has cultivated a classroom-based peer-to-peer mentoring program of over two decades, emphasizing evidence-informed and inclusive practices.

Big Futures Program

Big Futures empowers teens (ages 13-18) with the skills, guidance, and connections they need for success beyond high school—whether in college, a trade, or the workforce.
