Last week, in partnership with DNVR Sports, we brought the energy of the NFL Draft to mentorship—and made some powerful new connections along the way.
While the NFL is drafting players, we’re drafting mentors. And the call is clear: it’s time to get in the game.
We were proud to “draft” a brand-new match—Alexa and Brittny—marking the start of a life-changing mentoring relationship. Moments like this are what it’s all about: connection, consistency, and showing up for a young person’s future.
But here’s what we’re seeing right now:
- We have an incredible number of women stepping up to become mentors.
- At the same time, we have a growing number of boys waiting for a male mentor.
That means two things:
- We need more men to step up and get in the game.
- We also have space for more girls—young people like Alexa—who could benefit from being matched with a caring mentor.
This is a moment for our community to respond. Whether you’re ready to mentor or know someone who is, your involvement can change a life.
